Jenoa has been actively creating websites for 10 years, mostly for personal projects, but a few other projects have fallen into her lap. In 2005, she created an online magazine, “Illusion Mag”, where a team was formed to create a new issue of girly articles and reviews. The cover featured reader photos to be touched up and manipulated for the LOLs. IM was short lived, but a great experience.

Jenoa had her times of hiatus, but always yearns for the online scene. However, while on her hiatus' other forms of art are being tended to.

"I believe everyone should have a website. It's a way to connect with the world… Show them what you got! Show them what you offer… or just share."

Art is one thing that she couldnt live without. Through the years, she has always enjoyed different mediums. Though, constantly trying to find the one that she wants to devote her life to. All the skills learned from media design and digital photography has helped in her drawing. She has found that she particularily likes to do portraits of people and animals.

"Each one I attempt to do, I learn much from and use that towards my next one. It's very neat to see the transformation."

Currently, she's trying to better her line art to create a unique, but very rad drawing. She doesn't believe that she's at the ‘rad' point… just yet. Jenoa is discovering more ways to create new pieces. The gradification that comes from a finished piece is an awesome one to have. There are always things to learn, new techniques and styles to pick up from other artists. "I'll never stop learning."

"I always look forward to seeing what another artist might do differently. It's truely eye opening."

Continually learning about photography, Jenoa loves capturing memories to share and relive the moments in later years. Knowing the technical aspects definitely helps capture, process, and restore images.

Photography is such a neat thing. You can capture and manipulate any moment that you may catch. Whether the moment is set up or taken candidly, a great image can be produced. Learning the technical side of photography has made Jen understand the way light hits things. It's very interesting that you can set up different types of environments to produce a certain vibe or emotion that you'd like to convey to the person looking at the photograph. Jen highly enjoy travelling and taking photos of different places she sees, as well, work with friends and take their portrait.

"Photography is one thing that I'm glad I'm learning,
capturing moments with the archival life of forever."

Websites are another handy thing to know about. It has benifitted me, definitely, as I can post my art for my friends and family to see.. along with the rest of the world - should they stumble upon this site.

I learned how to write html in 1999. Much was self taught, though, I did have a few teachers along the way to help me with some programs, design, and code. I enjoy creating websites, though, I must admit, it's not my favourite! I just really like the idea of being able to put art up for myself, as well as, other people.

Jenoa is currently located in Edmonton, Alberta.
